The Season Finale!

The season finale of the office is on tonight! And the last episode of scrubs ever! Yay! It is finally gone, now people will watch the office and finally acknowledge that it is funnier than scrubs.

Wipe that stupid smile off your face becuase you are gone!

Lets take a moment to comare the office versus scrubs.
Idea of Funny-Scrubs: People singing and dancing in bad voices. Office: Jim dressing up like Dwight and getting Dwight to go on a tagent about how serious identity theft is. LOL.
I think we all know who wins.

McDonald's Game

Just today I was on addictinggames.com and I found an awesome, funny, hippie, and entertaining game called the McDonald's game. where you play the big corporate exec, who doesn't care that his food is making America fat. Do everything from cutting down rainforest, and building over it soy fields and cow pastures, to giving cows growth hormomes in the cow processing factory. You also get to hire hamburger stackers to cashiers, and launch big advertising campaigns and corrupting politicians and nutritionists. You also have to deal with powerful environmental, anti-obesity, anti-globalization, etc, lobby groups. Very fun and entertaining, but easy to lose.

Dictyostelid

I was assinged a project in Biology recently and we had to choose from a list of bizarre animals, the list only had the names. I chose the Dicyostelid, figuring it would be interesting. It turns out that Dicyostelium are microscopic slime moulds when faced the with no food will form together to make a psuedoplasmodium or slug (not to be confused with the gross animal which leaves a slimy trail). They have been used by many biologists and geneticists for scientific experiments.

GIS

Today I worked on a thing with my class called GIS. Apparently it stands for Geographic Info Systems, and we worked on adding aerial photos from 1937 onto Google Earth, and we could do mucho cool things like fade the photo so we could compare the old and the modern, the forest and suburbia, etc. It was very sad to see all this wilderness and farmland replaced by industrial plants and suburban developments.
